Hello from Hong Kong
Yesterday was an exhausting day. We had a shopping and High Tea tour. By the time we got over to the mainland from the ferry and then they walked me and took us into this small shop and gave us 45 minutes I knew this tour was not for us. We ran into Harold and Carol and told the tour escort from the ship we were leaving and not staying with them. We started the tour 10 minutes before with 9 people we were now down to 6! I thought the tea was at the Peninsula Hotel but it wasn't. We went walking all around but we had to take a ferry from where we were anchored to the Ocean Terminal. We went with Harold and Carol to a tailor and then on to the Peninsula Hotel for tea and pastry, We walked around alot and made the 5pm ferry back to the ship.
It was like a Chinese Fire Drill. They could not get the ferry lined up with the barge they set up in the am. They were feet away so they had to have Crystal personnel come on and figure it out. The ferry was down and the barge was up. We waited almost 45 minutes to get off the ferry and I was getting quite nervous I wasn't going to be able to get up the step. Thank God Crystal's crew was out there they helped me and I made it. Today we are docked but further from town in the industrial port. Not sure what is going on. Holland America was docked yesterday at Ocean Terminal and Seabourn today we were like the step children and not given a good spot. They did run a shuttle that took us to Harbor City a huge mall with lots of stores we have home! We leave our docked spot at midnight and go back to being anchored. So ferry tomorrow. We apparently signed up for a tour tomorrow that starts at 8:30 and I just received the tickets today I went down and explained that I could not do that again if I go in at all tomorrow on the ferry I don't want to rush to make a tour bus they took them back and said no problem!
Today we walked all around again in and out of shops. Nothing is a bargain here this time. I saw a beautiful hand bag and it was $1700 US Dollars. If I bought that I wouldn't have anything to put in it. I am having a jacket dress and an evening suit made for myself other than that I bought nothing. Bill bought a box of Cuban cigars. We are here all day tomorrow and then a sea day.
We are so tired tonight we are not even going down for dinner we will order room service. When we came back on board Bill went for his cigar and I took all the summery stuff and packed it and took out our winter stuff. It is getting cold. Our stewardess took the two suitcases to storage again for us!
During this voyage we sailed from Singapore to Hong Kong and we sailed 2,651 nautical miles or the equivalent of 3,049 miles.

These miles are really adding up I will add them and let you all know how many miles we have sailed so far!
If you look at the pictures I think our son Luke is holding out on us it seems he owns a chain of jewelers and didn't tell me!!!!!
So folks that's all. I am getting into my nice comfy nightgown and going to relax! I am done in!!!!!!
As Scarlett O'Hara would say "Tomorrow is another day"
