Last Formal Night on this segment

Cruising the South China Sea enroute to Hong Kong
Sunday March 11, 2012
We started today off as we usually do on a sea day by watching the Morning Show with Rick and Elise.  The first trivia question was really hard it took quite a while before someone answered it.  The next one was a series of 4 pictures to name the movie.  I waited because I always doubt myself well no one was calling in so I called in with Hope Floats and it was right then they do the sketch from the drawing board.  Again no one called in so I called in with the English Patient.  Right again then they had a rock and roll question and I knew the answer but didn’t call in.  Didn’t want to look greedy so I won two prizes today!  Not bad since we had to put the clock forward last night and it was after 2 when we got to bed.  This segment has been a lot of fun with Harold and Carol unfortunately, they leave the day after tomorrow.  Tonight is the last formal night of this segment.  Karaoke here we come!!!!!!  Trying to talk Carol into it.  Will let you know what happens .  We are off to breakfast and then the lectures.  So much to do so little time!!!!!!  I need to clone myself so I can take advantage of everything.  Really missing my memoir writing class!  There is some talk that Joe might make it back to the ship.  I truly hope so.

It has been confirmed Joe Kita will be back on board the day after tomorrow .  Yeah.  Now if only I could find what I wrote and saved it seems to keep disappearing!

There was so much going on today but we took it easy.  We played a few games of backgammon and I hit the shops they were having a clearance sale on short sleeve tshirts as the weather has turned cold!

The show tonight was Curtain call which is one of our favorites.  The finale with a scene from Momma Mia is just spectacular.  We had a cocktail party first then dinner then the show.  After the show we headed to Karaoke but it was so crowded I have never seen half of these people before so we headed next door to the Avenue Saloon where Colin plays the piano and it was nice and quiet.  Bill headed to the cigar lounge.

Tomorrow we are anchoring in Hong Kong we have three days here.  We have a tour "Shopping and High Tea" will let you know about that tomorrow
so Good night and God Bless.
I am tired.  Maybe it was the 2 glasses of champagne at the cocktail party or the pinot noir at dinner!
It is unbelievable that the third segment has come and gone so quickly!
