Today was a well deserved sea day.  But with much to do.  Bill started it off with a 90 minute hot stone massage this morning not me I am massaged out thank you very much.  I watched the morning show with Rick and Elise and won a trivia prize.  I then went to the Bistro for a light breakfast and sat with Becky before we knew it we had a whole table all taking about our days in Hong Kong.  

Bill joined us then he went to a lecture Becky and I headed to the Cruise Critic Meet and Mingle.  Cruise Critic is a website were we chat about  Crystal Cruises and on every sailing that has 10 ore more CC members signed up Crystal has a nice cocktail party for us.  It is nice to meet the people who we chat with.  The captain was posing for pictures and came over and asked me how I was doing and Becky was gracious enough to get our picture.  Captain Glenn is great.  He told me it was going to get sunny and be really nice I said "You're from Norway you are use to the cold, I'm from Arizona"  His answer was "Well then we have a problem"  After our cocktail party we headed down to talk to Debbie and James in Excursions to see about the change in the itinerary.  Seoul So Korea has been preempted and they have put in two other stops.  Nothing sounds too exciting so I am taking my time.  We then met Bill and Betty and Kris and had a nice lunch.  By this time we now had to rush to get to Jim Brochu's lecture on James Cagney...  Wow then it was a briefing for our 3 day adventure in Beijing I am exhausted.  Got all the way back to the cabin and realized I had to go to the library to pick up my trivia prize.  I am going to need a suitcase for all the prizes I won!  The librarian knows me by name and takes me right to the closet to pick out something!  I came back to the room to rest before I have to get ready for our formal night and a welcome cocktail party!!!!!   There was a shopping bag hanging on my door.  Inside was a Crystal Calendar and a box of Godiva chocolate.  When we had dinner last night in Prego Elise stopped by the table and I was telling her I have no idea what day it is and that I was depending on them to tell me when to get off in LA.  Josef asked if every thing was good and I said "Yes, except for the new chocolate covered dried apple that I keep telling you about"  He told me to keep putting it on the comment sheet he has no control over it. In this shopping bag was a note from Elise.  A calendar so you will know what day of the week it is and the chocolates so you enjoy your night time chocolates again.  She is just darling.  I told her I truly enjoy her World Cruise letters she sends us and when I don't get one I miss it.  last week she sent me a note so I wouldn't miss her letters!

The great news is that our Memoir writing teacher has returned so we start that up in a few days.  So as you can see I think there might be more to do on sea days then on Port days with excursions.  I am going to lie down for an hour and watch a movie!

Tomorrow Friday we will be in Xiamen, China and have a tour booked!  More on that tomorrow.
We have just been told that when we get to Japan March 29-April 2nd we will not have internet service something about the satelite not allowed by the Japanese!
The good news is the 2 nights we are off the ship in Beijing at the China World Hotel we will have internet.
