Noumea, New Caledonia

As we were pulling into New Caledonia we kept hearing beating drums.  We looked out our Veranda and as the ship was going sideways into the dock the top pictures are what we saw.  They were also dancing for us.  Unfortunately, it started to rain and continued all through our tour.  Bill said they looked like they were trying to find out who was going to be dinner.

We had a tour of the city and then aquaraium.  Lots of different kids of fish they have here.  Took lots of pictures but I am  not going to post.  

We went to the afternoon movie "Midnight in Paris with Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams.  Now I carry my little purse all over the friggin place today I went to the movies without it and of course halfway into the movie my hearing aid battery died.  It was like being in the 20s and seeing a silent film.  I didn't want to get up and leave because I would disturb anyone.  So I sat there and closed my eyes.  Bill said it was a good movie.  I did enjoy all the scenery of Paris and even picked out a few of the places we ate one was where we had the best Chocolate mousse ever!

We are getting ready to sail and then tonight we have a party for the World Cruisers "Colors of the South Pacific"  will report more on that later.
